Gordon Diamond AwardThe Gordon R. Diamond Community Service Award was established by Gordon R. Diamond's children. This is truly a beautiful way to remind our students of Mr. Diamond's outstanding contributions to our community and society as a whole. This award will be given annually to one student at KDHS who best exemplifies the qualities of community service and philanthropy that have been an essential part of Mr. Diamond's contributions to society. All graduating students at King David are eligible to apply to receive the award, however, as previously mentioned, only one student will receive it. Community service and philanthropy in both the Jewish and non-Jewish world will be considered. Once a student is selected, he/she will be presented with the award at the annual KDHS Award Night. An integral component will be the recipient designating to which charity/charities they wish the monetary portion of the award be given. Please click here to download the application form. |
